A Brief Overview Of A Mini Clubman Cars Part 1
The MINI Cooper Clubman Cars has its roots in the original Mini cars of the British Motor Corporation. The original Mini was the British equivalent to the German Volkswagen Beetle, and was voted the second most influential car of the 20th Century, behind only the Ford Model T. The original Mini's greatest innovation was its front wheel drive, giving it floor space all out of proportion with what was expected for such a small car.
The Original Minis were made from 1959 until 2000, though most popular and best known in the 1960s. Rover Group and BMW became interested in reviving the car as a joint venture even before the original finished production, and when Rover pulled out BMW forged ahead alone.
